MONDAY

BODY PUMP - 6-7 p.m. - 8 weeks

E-BAY SELLING - 7-9:30 p.m. - 2 weeks
** Class begins Monday, March 17 **
Learn how to sell on E-Bay the right way! Learn from an education specialist who has been trained on “The Basics of Selling on E-Bay”. BALLROOM / SOCIAL DANCE I - 6-8 p.m. - 8 weeks

Develop confidence learning the basics and many style steps in ballroom and social dances. Learn the swing, jitterbug, waltz, foxtrot, tango, and Latin dances such as the cha-cha, rumba, and salsa. BALLROOM / SOCIAL DANCE II - 8-10 p.m. - 8 weeks
** Class begins Monday, March 17 **
For the intermediate dance couple. Continue to polish your dancing with more style and steps in foxtrot, cha-cha, waltz, swing, rumba, tango, mambo, and salsa. Emphasis on style, grace, and more intricate patterns. Couples only. Pre-requisite: Ballroom / Social Dance I. Limit: 20 couples.

STRESS MANAGEMENT - 7-9:30 p.m. - 8 weeks
** Class begins Monday, March 31 **
Interested in reducing your stress level? Discover how childhood learning affects you and your body’s responses to stress. Learn how to “let go” of that muscular and emotional tension. You will be taught pure movement relaxation exercises (safe for physically handicapped persons). Instructor recommends the purchase of book entitled Total Relaxation by Dr. Harvey, Ph.D. (psychologist). Limit: None. Instructor: Dr. Kipling Forbes. Class Fee: $40.00. Class Rep: Carol Jacobelli. PILATES MAT - 7-8 p.m. - 6 weeks

Traditional-style Pilates mat class. Controlled movements are used to develop functionally strong core muscles, increase flexibility, and tone the body. Bring a yoga mat if possible. Limit: 25

PENN-TRAFFORD COMMUNITY BAND

No end date or formal start date. Get involved at any time. A Penn-Trafford Community Band has been formed for residents in the Penn-Trafford School District and neighboring communities. Interested residents, of any age and talent level, are invited to join. Meets on the first and third Mondays of the month. Limit: None. Organizer: Ron Rometo. Fee: None. Class Rep: Bibi Peduzzi. THERE IS A ROSE FOR EVERYONE - 7-9 p.m. - 1 week

Brighten up your yard with roses this summer! Learn all about rose selection, planting new roses, watering, fertilizing, disease and insect control, pruning, grooming, and winterizing. Limit: None

COOKIE MAKING: LADYLOCKS - 6:30-9:30 p.m. - 1 week

Just in time for Easter, join us for a night of cookie making. The instructor will teach you how to make the ever popular ladylocks. Ladylocks are a delicately crème filled pastry just right for the holidays. Bring a container to take your cookies home. Enclose a separate check for materials, payable to the instructor, for $10.00. BEGINNING GUITAR - 7-8 p.m. - 5 weeks

BEGINNER'S LINE DANCE - 7-9:30 p.m. - 8 weeks

Line dances formatted for beginners. Reviews from last session, new beginner dances will be added, a couple of more challenging dances will be taught for intermediate dancers. No partner needed. COLLEGE FUNDING: MAXIMIZING IT! - 7-9 p.m. - 1 week

Learn the secrets of picking colleges that give you the best financial aid package with more free money and fewer loans. See how to legally arrange your income and assets to maximize financial aid. INTERMEDIATE BRIDGE - 7-9:30 p.m. - 6 weeks
**Class begins Tuesday, April 1 **
Basic knowledge of playing bridge is required for registering for this class. You will learn the art of bidding, including the Jacoby transfer bid, competitive bidding and slam bidding, the Jacoby two-no-trump response, the weak two-bid, how to respond to pre-emptive openings and more. Learn invaluable strategies for smart defensive play. You will be hooked! No partner needed but very helpful. Limit: None. Instructor: To be announced. Class Fee: $30.00. Class Rep: Carol Jacobelli. BODY SCULPTING - 7:30-8:30 p.m. - 8 weeks
** Class begins Tuesday, March 18 **
Tuesday/Thursday class. Tone upper and lower body with this total body sculpting workout. Designed to build lean muscle and burn fat. Please bring a mat or towel and 3-5 lb. hand weights. Limit: 20. AARP SAFE DRIVING CLASS - 6-8 p.m. - 4 weeks
** Class begins Tuesday, April 1 **
To receive the insurance discount, you must be able to attend all four 2-hour classes. The discount lasts for 3 years. Come review the rules of the highway with AARP. You do not have to be a member of AARP to attend. Enclose a check to "AARP” for $10.00 for materials. Instructor will also offer a 2-hour class for those who have attended the 8-hour class within the last 3 years and would like to renew their insurance discounts. Limit: 30. Instructor: Martin Garvey. WEIGHT MANAGEMENT THROUGH SELF-DISCOVERY - 6:30-9:30 p.m. - 1 week
** Class held Tuesday, March 18 **
Diets don’t work, but the concepts you’ll learn in this class do. You’ll begin to discover the root cause of your weight gain, learn how to identify your triggers (those things that cause you to overeat) and begin to consciously let go of excess weight and find yourself "tipping the scales" in your favor. MINDFUL YOGA - 5:45-6:45 p.m. - 8 weeks

Tuesday / Thursday class. Beginner class beneficial for physical and mental health. Explore awareness using your mind, body, and breath to move toward self-discovery. Develop strength, flexibility, concentration, and relaxation through the practice of postures (asanas). Bring a yoga mat, blankets, and any yoga props you have. Limit: 20. Instructor: Don Ammon. MEDICARE HELP - 7-9 p.m. - 1 week

TRACING YOUR FAMILY TREE - 7-9 p.m. - 2 weeks
** Class begins Wednesday, March 19 **
Maybe you want to join an organization that insists you have proof of lineage, or maybe you are just wondering if the family stories are true. Either way, you will love this step-by-step instructional class on finding your family tree. Class is for beginners as well as those who have been at it for years. ONE STROKE PAINTING: PANSY BOX AND FRAME - 6-9 p.m. - 1 week

DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY II /INTRO TO PHOTO EDITING - 7-9 p.m. - 6 weeks
** Class begins Thursday, March 27 **
You know most of the functions of your digital camera. You've taken some nice pictures. Now it’s time to take it to the next level. Learn to take even better pictures by adjusting settings such as white balance and experimenting with composition. Classes will include live models, outside photography and hands on computer work. DEVELOPMENT OF REASONING (INTELLIGENCE) - 7-9:30 p.m. - 8 weeks
** Class begins Thursday, April 3 **
Learn who you are, or who you might be, and why this could be a good question. You will develop a sense of personal / cultural identity formation drawing on concepts of personal and psychological identity found in books published by the instructor. Class will interact through discussion, reading, and journaling to empower one self and to increase understanding in others. Course is especially recommended for educators and parents, but does not require previous professional training or parenting experience. Limit: None. Instructor: Dr. Kipling Forbes.
